About Stable Research

Stable Research is the main company, with the platform where all the survey takers go is called Stable Soapbox. But to keep it simple, I’ll call them Stable Research throughout the whole review.

Of the 110,000 members currently registered with Stable Research, over 80,000 of them have completed surveys in the last year. This means that their survey frequency is quite impressive.

They’ve been in business for over 10 years, slowly growing their member base over that time, ensuring they maintain high-quality admissions. One of the ways they do this is by validating all members by phone. On top of that, 15,000 members are spoken to on the phone by their team members each month! That’s a massive positive for this Stable Research review as they’re one of the only companies to do this in Australia.

Not only that, they’ve taken a transparent working to their business – again being one of the only survey sites in Australia to have a Google My Business listing with active reviews on it.

Is Stable Research Legit?

From everything I’ve seen – yes, Stable Research is a legit paid surveys company. They’ve been around for more than 10 years, they have mostly positive reviews of their company on Google, and they maintain an active social media presence across all of their profiles.

You can check out their LinkedIn and Facebook pages if you like.

How Much Can You Earn?

Earnings vary wildly depending on what type of survey or task the Stable Research team wants to you take. Small surveys that go for 5-10 minutes may result in payouts of around $1-$5.

As with a few other survey sites, instead of earning straight dollars for completing tasks, you’ll earn reward points which can then be redeemed for an eVoucher.

You’ll need a minimum of 1,000 points or $10 to cash out your first paycheck.

On the other hand, if you get called in to take part in a panel discussion which could a few hours or so, you could be paid anywhere between $30 and $250 per hour! If only all discussions were worth $250 per hour 😀 😀 Don’t expect them too often though…if ever.

Lastly, there have been some reports of phone calls from their team offering $120 for a simple 30-minute questionnaire. Unfortunately, some people have left negative Stable Research reviews because, at the end of the 30 minutes, the person on the other end of the line told them they didn’t qualify based on one of their first answer…not very nice.

How Do You Get Paid?

For surveys – the only way to get paid is via an electronic gift card, or eVoucher as they’re more commonly known.

Stable Research uses the wildly popular Flexi eGift Card service which has many of Australia’s largest retailers on board. Retailers include Coles, JB Hi-Fi, Myer, Woolworths, David Jones, Kmart, Target, and many others.

There’s no option to redeem your points directly in cash or via Paypal…sorry! 🙁

That all changes if you’ve taken part in a panel discussion. If that’s the case – there are three ways you can get paid by Stable Research:

  • Cash directly after the discussions from the research
  • Via EFTPOS at a later date, or
  • A gift card like mentioned above

They’ll let you know the type of payout in the invitation so you won’t get surprised at the end.

What’s My Stable Research Review?

On to the good stuff! My review of their survey platform 🙂

I really like the fact they’re not like any of the other survey companies in Australia – as in they don’t market the same way. They seem to be more of a traditional business in their look, management, and marketing, which I think is fantastic. It makes it feel so much better when your taking their surveys and answering any questions they have for you.

All up – yes, I’d recommend signing up to Stable Research and giving them a go (despite one or two few negative reviews left by others).
