Mint Surveys sends you surveys from some of Australia’s largest brands in an effort to give you the opportunity to earn rewards for your opinion, and for brands to further understand how Australian’s consume and think about their products.

About Mint Surveys

Mint Surveys is a typical survey platform – they partner with large and small Australian and Global brands who wish to know more about what Aussies thinks. In return for giving your opinion and completing surveys, you’ll be rewarded with Mint Surveys points.

These points can be redeemed for Coles & Myer Gift Cards. Unfortunately, no other redemption method is available, but more on that below.

Mint Surveys is owned by The Online Research Unit Pty Ltd and is a member of the Association of Market and Social Research Organisations.

Is Mint Surveys Legit?

From our research, yes – Mint Surveys is a legitimate company. They’re a member of the Australian Market Research Society which helps govern many of the survey sites in Australia.

The company has been around or quite a while (nearly 20 years now), although I’m not entirely sure how long Mint Surveys themselves have been operating.

How Much Can You Earn?

Potentially, quite a lot. Unfortunately, I’ve been a member for quite a while now and have yet to meet the minimum $20 balance to cash out.

Although, everyone that signs up gets a bonus 20 points straight away ($2) so it’s worth signing up, in case you’re profile is more suited to their system and they send you plenty of surveys.

How Does Mint Surveys Payout?

There’s only a single way to redeem your points for completing their surveys, and that’s with a Coles Myer Gift Card.

It’s not too bad seeing as though many of us do already shop at some of the stores where you can spend it. Here’s a list of all the stores you can spend it at.

Of course, it’ll never be as good as getting it sent straight to your Paypal.

What’s The Signup Process Like?

Pretty straight forward. Altogether there are only 2 pages of signup. No mobile verification is needed which is always good, but you will need to verify your email. You can’t even login in you don’t (it has your password in it).

The second page of the signup process is quite a bit longer than the first. It has a few more questions about your lifestyle, income, and the technology your use (not sure why they ask this one).

Thankfully, that’s all there is. Once you signup and activate, there are no more questionnaires waiting for you on your profile.

Do They Do Anything Special?

Nope – Mint Surveys is the anti-special survey platform. They don’t really do anything fun on the side like Survey Village or IRI Shopper Platform.

They’re a straight-forward survey platform. They’ll send you surveys, you answer all the questions they have, and they’ll send you some points. Once you have enough points, you can redeem them for a gift card.

What Do I Think About Mint Surveys?

Sorry to say – but all I can review about Mint Surveys is the signup process since I haven’t completed any surveys with them.

What I can say, though, is the the $2 bonus for just signing up was a nice little surprise! Although it won’t be a surprise for you because I’m telling you now 😀

P.S. I’ve sent them a message about the lack of surveys but haven’t received a response yet.

What Do Other People Think About Mint Surveys?

Unfortunately, recent Mint Surveys reviews don’t seem to be too positive. Most are saying the site is now dead (similar to my experience) but they’re still accepting signups and everything so I’m not too sure what’s going on.

Here is what a few people have said recently:

Concerned that there haven’t been anything from them in so long now, and they take a while to reply to questions asked via the email address.Paul, Oct 18

I have now been waiting for a gift card from them for over 45 days, and they stipulate on their site that they will be sent out within 28 days.Matt, Mar 18

They always pay my rewards & the surveys never drop out.Nathan, Jul 17

Nathan is definitely the odd one out! Or maybe the surveys have just started to dry up this year..who knows!

Signups 100% free and you’ll get a bonus $2 just for doing so! You have to wait until your balance is at $20 before you can cash out though.
